About the role

As a

Clinical Supervisor

, you will provide supervision, training, and support to the clinical staff under the direction of the Manager of Programs and Clinical Services. You will also manage a small caseload, demonstrating excellence in clinical practice.



We are hiring for one (1) full time, contract position for a period of up to 14 months (end of contract January 2027).



Please note, all internal candidates must have worked at PAARC for a minimum for 2 years, with at least 6 months in their current role/program.

What you'll do

Supervisory:

Assist in the recruitment and selection of clinical staff Provide orientation, regular supervision, and ongoing evaluation to clinical staff Maintain high standards of clinical practice and professional conduct within the team


Clinical:

Conduct assessments, case management, and supportive counselling. Ensure meticulous documentation of clinical work, including case notes and reports.


Organizational Support and Administration

Maintain effective communication and relationships with community groups, agency teams and all PAARC employees Participate in meetings and committees as required and assist in program and organizational planning Prepare and deliver professional presentations to the community.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline. 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in the not for profit sector, with extensive clinical experience. Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of substance use philosophies, with strong skills in crisis management and case management. Superior command of English and strong verbal communication skills. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the community as needed.

Working Conditions

Office environment and community-based settings. 35-hour work week; Mon to Fri 8:30 am- 4:30 pm with one evening per week (12:30pm - 8:00pm) with the expectation of additional hours outside of the standard work week as required The majority of the work will be located in Mississauga, with some travel to Brampton and Caledon

The pay range for this role is:

66,681 - 72,864 CAD per year(Dixie Road)
