Support the clinical development and education, manage inventory and equipment, and customer education programs pertinent to Medtronic defined products and technology. Support the implementation of policies and procedures and participate in all facets of clinical and operational decision-making pertaining to the programs of the organizational unit. Train and educate investigators/customers on proper use of the Medtronic product and technology.

Fast paced, self-driven individual, preferably with Electrophysiology background in cardiac device follow up and implant. Experience with troubleshooting an asset. Predominately based in the GTA but potential to travel across Ontario for clinical coverage needs.

A day in the life.

\xc3\x98 Conducts on-site education and / or consulting.

\xc3\x98 Supports field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.

\xc3\x98 Partners with sales colleagues to develop and execute plans of sales for within one or more business unit(s).

\xc3\x98 Participates in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.

\xc3\x98 Works closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.

\xc3\x98 Identifies and facilitates execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.

\xc3\x98 Serves as a technical resource to support sales of a specific medical product or solution.

\xc3\x98 Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)

\xc3\x98 Provide leadership and direction in all aspects of the establishment, implementation, promotion, and administration of the clinical education activities, to include assessment, curriculum planning, communications and clinical skills development, and educational support

\xc3\x98 Develop and execute clinical education programs designed to enhance user competencies

\xc3\x98 Cultivate close relationships with strategic business partners, including all training centers and opinion leaders

\xc3\x98 Provides new employee training on products, technology and materials

\xc3\x98 Assist in developing objectives, and programs for marketing and selling the Company\xe2\x80\x99s products

\xc3\x98 Provides nursing and/or medical expertise in the development, implementation, and case reports, journal articles and clinical reports from clinicians

\xc3\x98 Plan, direct, and coordinate educational workshops, and other programs, events, and activities (Maintain contact with customers to evaluate their clinical and educational needs)

\xc3\x98 Leads efforts to place speakers on podiums at key conferences

\xc3\x98 Work with other departments to establish priorities for the Company direction, new product development, and customer satisfaction

\xc3\x98 Education reporting requirements (Must document all clinical support and education)

\xc3\x98 Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with RSM & SPM

Must Have.

\xc3\x98 High School Diploma or GED Associate degree, or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with either of the below\xe2\x80\x9d

\xc3\x98 A Bachelor\'s degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD.

\xc3\x98 Minimum 4 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with an Associate degree, or;

\xc3\x98 Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, or;

\xc3\x98 Minimum 3 years of any prior professional experience, with a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD.

\xc3\x98 Travel required for training, customer events, symposia, field activities and case coverage

\xc3\x98 On-call and travelling after hours may be required for case coverage and/or field related activities

\xc3\x98 Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. CS\xe2\x80\x99s are required to work a number of weekend and holidays during the quarter, as determined by local management.

\xc3\x98 Must have a valid driver\'s license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.

\xc3\x98 Minimum travel of 50-60% of any given work week in your territory

\xc3\x98 Background in Nursing Education would beneficial

\xc3\x98 Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare related Sales and/or Marketing experience

\xc3\x98 Strong knowledge of the healthcare system (National, Provincial and/or Regional level)

\xc3\x98 Medical device experience

\xc3\x98 Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops

\xc3\x98 Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures

\xc3\x98 Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities

\xc3\x98 Knowledge of adult education and communication principles and practices

\xc3\x98 Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse community
