JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for reception/registration of Medical Imaging Patients and processing/filing of Medical Imaging documents. Handles telephone, paper bookings and general inquiries for all Medical Imaging procedures. Provides assistance to physicians and other departments. Performs other clerical duties as assigned. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary medical secretarial or health office administration diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Two years previous clerical experience in a similar environment
  • required
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to organize workloads in
  • co-operation with peers
  • Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a high paced
  • environment
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills. Microsoft Office experience an asset
  • Patient registration, scheduling, order processing/management experience is an asset
  • Must be an effective communicator to transmit information in a courteous and concise manner
  • Must demonstrate a client first focus
  • Medical terminology required
  • Good attendance record
