Position Description

Clinical Research Project Assistant

Here's What You'll Get To Do:

The Clinical Research Project Assistant works closely with the Principal Investigator, Research Associate, and Clinical Research Manager and/or Clinical Research Coordinator, to assist in study operations. This position includes many of the basic tasks across various stages of clinical research from planning to day-to-day operations of studies:

Support the screening and recruitment of participants for a diverse portfolio of studies Explain studies and obtain informed consent Assist with arranging study visits and completion of study-related procedures Perform data extraction from medical charts and data entry Perform administrative tasks supporting research activities

Here's What You'll Need:

Post-secondary degree in sciences, social sciences or a health-related discipline Minimum 2 years previous clinical research experience Experience with multi-center studies is preferred. Function independently yet collaboratively within a team Analytical thinking and attention to detail are required. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation and organizational skills Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet and MEDLINE searches) A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
