RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Qu\xc3\xa9bec - Sant\xc3\xa9 (FRQS).

Position summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who will work under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Spicer.

General Duties
The tasks include:

• Consenting,
• Biobanking,
• Data Entry.

Education / Experience

Education: Master\'s Degree
Field of Study: Science or Medicine
Other education considered an asset for this position: Foreign medical graduates (with valid work visa) are welcome to apply.

Work Experience: Previous experience working in a clinical / healthcare environment, including interaction with patients and clinical personnel (nurses, technicians and physicians).

Professional Membership: \xe2\x98\x90 Yes \xe2\x98\x92 No

Other Requirements:

• Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook),
• Working knowledge of and experience with basic laboratory techniques.

Additional information

Status: Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: $42,260.40 - $78,460.20, commensurate with education & work experience
Work Shift: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm., Mondays to Fridays / Schedule subject to change - flexibility required
Work Site: Gatineau and Hull Hospitals
For the first weeks, training will be done remotely and on site at the MUHC, Montreal.
