This position is perfect for a lab tech wiz looking to make a difference! As a key member of our research team, you will be involved in conducting clinical trials and assisting with various research activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advancing scientific knowledge and improving patient care while learning how the clinical research industry truly works.
Responsibilities
Biological sample collection, processing, shipping, and management
Performance of basic safety assessments (such as collecting vital signs, performing ECGs, etc.) and administration of participant questionnaires
Management of ongoing and pre-study source documents and electronic databases, including filing, photocopying, scanning, distributing information, entering data, etc.
Inventory organization, resupply, and maintenance
Management of complex patient, department, vendor, and Sponsor scheduling in an Electronic Medical System
Collection, compilation, and updating of basic statistical information and other data to generate and prepare reports and other documentation to support study management and success

Qualifications
Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures required
Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
Completion of a clinical research program or demonstration of clinical research interests an asset
Bachelor's degree in a science- or health-related field an asset
Training in ICH/GCP guidelines an asset
Superior organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a dynamic environment
Excellent computer skills and proficient with MS Office software

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
