Your Opportunity:The Clinical Quality Consultant is part of the Integrated Quality Management (IQM) portfolio supporting the Edmonton Zone. This position has the opportunity to work in a diverse range of healthcare environments, and with staff and leaders at many levels of the organization. The position works with members of the IQM team to provide ongoing leadership in fostering a culture of a continuous quality improvement. Depending on the area of focus, the Clinical Quality Consultant will play an integral role in supporting a variety of clinical teams in quality management across the organization.Description:Reporting to the Manager, Quality and Patient Safety, the Clinical Quality Consultant plays a pivotal role in advancing patient safety culture in the Edmonton Zone. This position is responsible to: Collaborate and consult with stakeholders to influence culture change through continual representation of the quality management body of knowledge in strategic program development. Influence change management in development and implementation of new and improvement initiatives (e.g., Connect Care). Facilitate the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives related to service improvement, patient safety and accreditation standards.
