University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Clinical Psychologist in our Comprehensive Integrated Pain Program.

The Interventional Pain Service at Toronto Western Hospital provides patients living with pain cutting-edge interventions, including intravenous ketamine infusions and spinal cord stimulation, which can be life changing. The responsibilities of the Clinical Psychologist include: assessment of paitents who are medically eligible for spinal cord stimulation or ketamine infusion, formulation of case conceptualization and appropriate mental health diagnoses, preparation of pscyhological reports shared with the interdisciplinary treatment team to guide treatment decisions, attending team consultation meetings, providing psycho-education on pain and pain coping, and providing psychological interventions to patients individually and in groups to optimize their functioning and well-being. Psychological treatment is provided to both inpatients and outpatients struggling to cope with acute and chronic pain. Psychologists may supervise and train clinical psychology practicum interns and/or post-doctoral fellows.
