Probity Health is seeking up to two qualified Clinical Psychologists to provide specialized psychological services to support the mental health and operational readiness of RCMP members and cadets. This role is integral to maintaining the psychological fitness and resilience of law enforcement personnel in Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities
The psychologist will conduct psychological assessments for fitness for duty, disability management, and performance-related issues. They will provide psychological care and assessments for cadets at Depot and deliver preventative health programs in collaboration with RCMP Health Services teams. They will also provide psychological debriefings and interventions following critical incidents, coordinate and deliver CISM services across Saskatchewan, and submit post-incident reports within 5 business days.
The psychologist will administer and interpret psychological screening tests (e.g., MMPI-2-RF or MMPI-3) for cadet and officer applicants and provide written recommendations on psychological fitness. They will conduct psychological evaluations for members assigned to specialized units and deliver comprehensive reports integrating test data, interviews, and file reviews.
They will offer expert consultation to RCMP management, legal services, and health teams, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for case planning and return-to-work strategies, and provide expert testimony when required.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree (PhD) in Clinical or Counselling Psychology from a recognized Canadian university or equivalent.
Be licensed as a psychologist in Saskatchewan or eligible for licensure, possess an Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) from the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, and be in good standing with the provincial regulatory body.
Minimum of 3 years (36 months) of clinical experience and proven experience in psychological testing and interpretation (MMPI-2-RF or MMPI-3).
Skills & Attributes
Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent written and verbal communication in English, and comfort with travel and flexible scheduling including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: 20 hours/ week Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Flexibility may be required for critical incidents.
Travel: May be required within Saskatchewan. RCMP may assist with transport.
Security: Willingness to under a government security clearance process

Pay: $155.00-$200.00 per hour
