The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a term part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in acute care hospital settings. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval. Qualifications: BScN or BN, current registration, or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses and Midwives of Prince Edward Island (CRNMPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in adult medical surgical nursing is required. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students would be an asset. Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license required. Term: Term part-time position from January 1, 2024 \xe2\x80\x93 April 12, 2024 Hours: 22.5 hours per week, involves days and evening shift work Salary: $46.75 + 6% VP per hour per hour in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors and The University of Prince Edward Island Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1 Start Date: January 1, 2024 Application Instructions: Interested individuals should enclose a cover letter, resume, a copy of their current CRNPEI registration and the name, address, and phone numbers of three referees, including most recent employer.
