Clinical Lab Assistant, Health Programs

Term of Employment: August 25, 2025 to December 19, 2025

Hourly Rate:

$29.76 to $39.40

Location: Pembina Campus

8:00 am to 4:00 pm (14 to 21 hours/week)

Work days may vary based on the needs of the program



Reporting to the Academic Coordinator, the Clinical Lab Assistant works closely with the Pharmacy Technician Program instructors to support course delivery of the Community Pharmacy Practice Dispensing Laboratory II (PT-320), Final Product Verification Zero Tolerance Tests (PT-413), and other Program Learning Initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Lab set-up and clean-up. Equipment sterilization. Kroll data entry and maintenance. Supply ordering and inventory tracking. Student learning supports under the supervision the instructor. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in Program area meetings and contribute to accreditation activities, as well as participate in other College-based committees or activities. Foster a respectful and supportive learning environment based on the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Required and Preferred Qualifications/Experience:



Listed pharmacy technician (RPEBC-PT) and meet the minimum practice requirements for listing with CPhM 1-3 years of current community pharmacy work would be an asset. Strong Kroll software proficiency Effective in a team environment that values collaboration and accountability

Conditions of Employment:



Legally entitled to work in Canada Successful completion of a Criminal Record check including vulnerable sector and Child Abuse Registry Check

An eligibility list may be created for similar positions. Developmental opportunities may be available for candidates who do not meet all of the requirements of the position.
