Accenture is focused on assisting our Health clients in two primary offerings: 1) to migrate and run their Clinical Information System (CIS) in the Cloud and 2) Clinical Information System Support and Optimization. We are searching for talented and experienced people with CIS experience and skills. Specifically, we are searching for Vendor Solution Consultants, Clinicians, or Clinical Informaticists to join us and either assist in the implementation of CIS solutions, develop and deploy CIS implementations, development of assets and accelerators, and assistance in technical requirement analysis for business cases for clients to move their CIS instance to the cloud, OR assist our clients solve toughest challenges related to supporting and optimizing their CIS solutions.You Are:
An experienced Clinical Information System (CIS) Consultant, Clinicians, or Clinical Informaticists with proven skills in one or more of the following CIS solutions: Cerner (Oracle Health), Epic, MEDITECH or Allscripts (Altera). This requisition will be used to fill four roles in the following modules: Ambulatory (2), Laboratory, and Pharmacy.Here is what you need:

  • Healthcare IT Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in Healthcare IT.
  • Clinical background preferred.
  • Consulting or systems integrator experience with Clinical Information Systems solutions, or clinical healthcare organization experience using CIS solutions (Cerner preferred).
  • Clinical Information System Experience:
  • Proficient in designing and building CIS solutions, with a preference for Cerner Millennium suite, Ambulatory, Pharmacy or Laboratory applications.
  • Preferred experience in implementing CIS solutions in a complex Ambulatory, Pharmacy or Laboratory Information Systems environment.
  • Preferred understanding and/or training in Cerner Millennium configuration, including but not limited to: PowerChart, Message Centre, Orders to Scheduling (Follow Up/Referral To), Codesets, UltraGrids, Tracking Shell, Positions, Data Collection Workbook, MPages, Dynamic Worklist, Ambulatory Organizer or PharmNET or PathNET and iView.
  • Demonstrates Ambulatory workflow (Provider, Nursing, Front Office, Coder, and Ancillary staff, including lab, radiology, medication administration, ePrescribe, and other Orders workflows) and solution knowledge.
  • Educational and Location Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent (3-5 years) work experience.
  • Canadian Healthcare experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Hybrid work location; travel is expected per the terms of the contract.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company\'s activities to avoid this requirement.
