Position Overview: The Clinical Data Manager will play a crucial role in bridging the time zone gap between Europe and Montreal by providing local support to the Data Management team. This position will ensure smooth project coordination and timely delivery of high-quality data, enhancing operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
System Configuration and Implementation:
  • Configure and validate study systems based on project specifications.
  • Ensure seamless data integration and export in collaboration with the R&D team.
Data Flow Monitoring and Processing:
  • Monitor study execution to ensure compliance with project timelines and sequences.
  • Conduct quality checks using integrated system tools to ensure data completeness and reliability.
Discrepancy Management:
  • Identify and document data anomalies (e.g., missing values, entry errors).
  • Manage Data Queries to clarify and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with clinical sites and monitoring teams to address discrepancies promptly.
Team Collaboration:
  • Support study management teams in addressing data-related challenges.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance data management capabilities.
  • Work closely with data experts to optimize processes and workflows.
Operational Management:
  • Manage system user accounts and access levels.
  • Oversee operational needs to support production requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as:
o Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
o Computer Science or Data Management
o Statistics or Applied Mathematics
o Public Health or Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in clinical data management, clinical monitoring, or a related role.
  • Experience in data quality assurance and database handling.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office and standard data management systems.
  • Knowledge of clinical data management processes and regulatory standards.
  • Understanding of data quality control principles.
  • Fluent in French (written and spoken), essential for international collaboration.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability in meeting regulatory and quality standards.
  • Excellent teamwork and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Adaptability and responsiveness to urgent or unforeseen situations.
  • Clear communication skills to explain complex concepts effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while aligning with team goals.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality.
