Position: Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
Compensation: $90 - $108 per hour (Contract Position)

Radiance Counselling Clinic is a compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-focused mental health practice dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families across our communities. We are currently inviting Registered Clinical Counsellors to join our growing team at our Abbotsford, Surrey, and Maple Ridge locations.

Role Overview

As a Clinical Counsellor, you will provide counselling services to individuals, couples, and families impacted by trauma, relational discord, and various mental health concerns. You will help clients build mental fortitude and achieve overall well-being through evidence-based and culturally informed therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology RCC designation and registration with BCACC Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families facing trauma or mental health issues Professional liability insurance Preferred: Approval to provide services under CVAP, ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and/or FNHA Asset: Punjabi-speaking skills
Skills & Knowledge

Training and experience in trauma counselling Competence in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and/or somatic therapies Training in Gottman Method and/or EFT for couples counselling preferred Understanding of adolescent development and evidence-based treatment modalities Ability to work sensitively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds Strong communication, empathy, and rapport-building skills Team player with flexibility, professionalism, and self-motivation Commitment to collaborative work and inter-agency cooperation
