Unitive Wellness Clinic is a growing, inclusive, trauma-informed counselling practice dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, OCD, mood disorders, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, and life transitions. We are based in the heart of Vancouver at 601 West Broadway, just steps from the Broadway City Hall SkyTrain. We are currently seeking a warm, experienced, and clinically grounded
Counsellor or ADHD Coach
to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who works with
individuals, couples, families, children, and youth
, and brings a strong foundation in
trauma-informed care, attachment-based work, and couples therapy
.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are a therapist or coach who is:
Trained in
evidence-based couples therapy
, such as:
Gottman Method (Level 1+)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Integrative Behavioural Couple Therapy (IBCT)
Experienced in
supporting neurodivergent clients
, including ADHD/ADD (coaching experience is an asset)
Skilled at working with
children, youth, and families
using developmentally, attachment based, and trauma-informed approaches
Comfortable supporting clients with
complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, and relationship distress
Familiar or trained in
IFS (Internal Family Systems)
and/or
EMDR
, or willing to pursue training
Able to work both
independently and collaboratively
in a team setting
Willing/active participant in expanding their own caseload
Open to co-facilitating
groups
(such as ADHD skills groups, DBT groups, parent support, or anxiety/stress programs)
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree
in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or equivalent
OR Certified
ADHD Coach
with evidence-based training and counselling-related credentials
BCACC (RCC)
,
CCPA (CCC)
,
BC College of Social Workers (RSW)
, or
College of Psychologists of BC (R.Psych)
2+ years of post-graduation experience
, including work with couples, youth, or families
Experience with ADHD/ADD in both children and adults
Available to work at least 1 in-person day in Vancouver weekly, with virtual options for additional sessions
Additional Assets (Preferred, but Not Required)
Training in modalities such as
EMDR, DBT, CBT, IFS, EFT/EFFT, CBT-I, ERP, I-CBT
Experience working with children, youth, or families
Group facilitation skills (or willingness to co-lead anxiety/ADHD groups)
Fluency in a second language
Comfort working with high-risk clients (e.g., self-harm, suicidal ideation)
