Join our team at Radiance Counselling Clinic!! We are looking to welcome Registered Clinical Counsellors at our Abbotsford Clinic. Radiance Counselling Clinic is a mental health therapy practice that provides our community with compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-focused counselling services.

As a Clinical Counsellor, you will work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with mental health concerns, impacted by traumatic events, and facing relational discord. Through our counselling services we aim to create treatment plans that support clients in managing their overall mental health and relational challenges. The goal of our therapy sessions is to help clients develop the mental fortitude needed to heal, achieve personal growth, and enhance their well-being. We support clients in managing symptoms related to their mental health, practicing self- care and self-compassion, and regulating their emotions as they transition through difficult times.

Qualifications:

-Minimum 2 years' experience in working with individuals and families with trauma, mental health issues, and couples and family therapy

-Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology

-RCC designation and registration with BCACC-Liability insurance

-Approval to provide counselling services under CVAP, ICBC, WorkSafe and/or FNHA is preferred

-Punjabi-speaking skills are an asset

-Pay Range: $90 to $108 per hour

Skills and Knowledge
? Training and experience in trauma counselling?Believe in working with individuals, couples, and families to promote support and recovery
? Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
? Establish rapport and impart caring and empathy while remaining objective and professional and sensitive to client needs
? Ability to work with all cultures and use culturally competent model for psychotherapy
? Team player with willingness to show flexibility and self-motivation
? Collaboration with other agencies
? Basic understanding of adolescent development and treatment modalities
? Understand various diagnoses in the mental health field and understand recommended treatment for those who need mental health services
?EMDR training certification and/or training in somatic therapies and DBT and CBT training is an asset

? Gottman Method and/or EFT couples is preferred.
