In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient & staff safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position. Reporting to the Manager or designate, the Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for designing, building, testing, implementing and sustaining clinical applications functionality for use in healthcare. Through the application of clinical knowledge, and the analysis of current and future state processes, this position is responsible for ensuring application design decisions are made, clinical functionality is incorporated into application builds, and end-product continues to support clinical end-users in delivering patient-centric healthcare.
