About the Role





The CGoC has an opening at the TAC Sport Medicine Clinic, we are looking for an experienced and reliable full-time receptionist. Our ideal candidate has a professional positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome. As a part of our reception team, you will help to ensure the proper functioning of the clinic by providing administrative and clerical support to the entire clinic team as well as all departments, in addition to providing a high level of customer service to the Members and clients we serve.





Working with the patients, fellow therapists working for the clinic and throughout the sport medicine community, the reception team, and the management team across the club and company-wide, vendors and the members. The Clinic Receptionist will help nurture the relationships from external referral sources including medical doctors, surgeons, professional and amateur sports team therapists and doctors and HR managers from corporate relationships.



Responsibilities





Specific duties will include, but are not limited to:


Greeting and assisting clients with bookings and re-arranging appointments. Creating, maintaining and filing patient information and scanning of paper files. Completing daily billing and reconciling reports. Answering phones and placing outbound calls as needed. Word processing and spreadsheet updates. Oversee completion of callbacks in a timely manner. Maintaining patient charts, filing, computer billing, accounts receivable, and general housekeeping responsibilities.



Qualifications/Requirements




Good organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in an active, friendly environment. Sound professional judgment in dealing with all levels of staff, patients and volunteers, patients and members. Excellent interpersonal and customer service. Experience in reception/customer service environment required Experience with Jane/ EMR software is an asset



Skills/Knowledge/Attributes




Highly developed computer literacy in a wide range of administrative support programs (i.e. EMR, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.). Excellent writing and communication skills exhibited through positive interactions with patients, members, staff and therapists. Working independently on projects and collaboratively, as part of a team, is a required skill.



Working Conditions




Most working hours are seated at a desk in a busy, fun and dynamic medical clinic. We have created an atmosphere where people want to work and where people can't wait to get to work. It is a fast-paced busy clinic where the patient's time is regarded as important as the therapist's time, thus prompt timely care is a must.



Working Hours:



This position is Monday-Friday 10am-6pm but can change with the requirements of the business.
