Physio Connect multidisciplinary clinic with practitioners providing a wide range of rehabilitation services including physiotherapy, chiropractic, Massage Therapy and Osteopath
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist/ Admin Assist. The successful candidate should have experience with working in a Physiotherapy clinic as a receptionist and or Physiotherapy Assistant with Physio Clinic front desk experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after the administration duties of the office, as well as handling of all patient inquires, appointments, payment and records. The successful candidate will act as liaison with insurance companies and health care providers.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Respond to all patient inquiries with appropriate follow up.
Initiate and maintain patient communications during registration.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Manage phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and handle patient communications effectively.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) using systems such as Universal Software, TELUS and other billing software
Collect patient information and verify insurance details prior to appointments.
Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, in a professional manner.
Support billing processes by preparing necessary documentation and following up on claims.
Experience in Office experience administrative/management role - ideally in a medical environment where you have developed knowledge of insurance rules, billing practices.

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are a must
Proficiency/fluency in the English language (written and spoken) is a must
Medical Administration Diploma is an asset
Good computer skills, ideally with working knowledge of Electronic Booking Medical Records systems (ie TELUS, HCAI, Provider Connect, etc)
Experience working with a Physiotherapist an asset
Arabic and other language would be an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
