Job Summary


At MoveMed Physiotherapy, we are passionate about helping our community stay active and experience "Movement as Medicine". We are a growing physiotherapy clinic and we recently expanded to a brand new clinic location in central Kelowna. We're looking for a detail-oriented and personable clinic receptionist to join our team, help streamline operations while enhancing patient experience, and grow with our organization.

Key Responsibilities



- Welcome Clients: Greet patients and visitors with a smile, both in person and over the phone, making them feel valued and at ease from the moment they arrive.

- Appointment Management: Take charge of scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling appointments with ease. Use our user-friendly systems to send out appointment reminders that keep our clients on track.

- Phone Engagement: Answer incoming calls with enthusiasm, providing information about our services and assisting with inquiries about appointments or treatments.

- Patient Records Management: Keep our electronic medical records (EMR) up-to-date and accurate, safeguarding patient confidentiality while ensuring seamless access to information.

- Invoicing & Payments: Prepare invoices and process payments efficiently, ensuring that every transaction is smooth and hassle-free for our patients. Track outstanding payments and provide reminders in a professional manner.

- Create a Welcoming Environment: Maintain an organized and inviting reception area, which reflects our clinic's commitment to excellence in client care.

Qualifications:



- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a medical office or customer service is a plus! An Administrative Assistant Certificate would be ideal.

- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using office equipment (phones, computers). Familiarity with Jane App software is an added bonus!

- Communication Superstar: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to connect with patients empathetically while maintaining professionalism

- Organizational Whiz: Strong multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail and efficient time management skills

- Problem Solver: Quick thinking and resourceful when addressing patient concerns or scheduling challenges

- Ability to speak French is an asset, but not required

- An interest in an active lifestyle and/or running is a definite bonus!
