The SFU Surrey Community Counselling centre provides free individual counselling to the public, by students in the SFU Counselling Psychology Master's program. Counsellor-Trainees are enrolled in EDUC 799/800 (Supervised Clinic I and II) and provide counselling under faculty supervision on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon/evenings. The Centre is staffed by a director, who is also one of two Clinic instructors. The SFU Surrey Community Counselling Centre is operated by the Counselling Psychology Master's program in the Faculty of Education, SFU.
About the Role
The clinic reception provides support for clinic operations while student counsellors are completing their supervised clinic course from September to April. The successful candidate will be directly involved in supporting the smooth functioning of the counselling centre.
