CRC Health Centre is a large multidisciplinary medical centre serving over 40,000 patients in Richmond. We are home to a diverse team of family physicians, nurse practitioners, and specialists, with on-site pharmacy services and diagnostics. We are seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee clinic operations, support clinicians, and provide leadership in HR and administrative processes. This role combines operational management with human resources coordination and financial administration.

Key Responsibilities



Clinical Department Support

Oversee onboarding and off boarding of physicians, nurse practitioners, and specialists (contracts, EMR setup, orientation, scheduling). Coordinate provider schedules and support MOA scheduling adjustments (vacation, sick days, shift switches). Monitor clinical workflows, patient referrals, and continuity of care across primary care and specialist services. Provide support for clinician inquiries, contracts, and overhead discussions. Assist with MOA training, evaluations (probationary and annual), and handbook updates.
Administrative & HR Management

Manage recruitment with department heads: job postings, interviews, hiring letters, and onboarding. Administer staff orientation, company handbook updates, and HR policy compliance (BC Employment Standards, benefits, vacation, sick leave). Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR documentation. Oversee procurement of office and medical supplies, and manage vendor relationships. Liaise with stakeholders and act as the main contact for clinic administration. Coordinate internal and external meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items. Support internal communications and marketing efforts (announcements, promotional materials, social media).
Finance, Billing & Reporting

Monitor clinic expenses, invoices, and prepare budget reports. Oversee billing submissions (MSP, diagnostics, private billings) and resolve rejected claims. Track overhead fees, unpaid invoices, and prepare statements/reports for accounting. Ensure accuracy of Assignment of Payment (AOP) renewals, contract payments, and private payment records.
EMR & Technical Support

Maintain EMR templates, forms, requisitions, and user accounts. Provide first-line IT troubleshooting for clinic software and hardware. Manage eFaxes, third-party communications (ICBC, WCB, insurance), and Excelleris reports. Prepare and release medical records/reports to external facilities and coordinate billing.
Events & Community Engagement

Organize and coordinate company events (staff lunches, year-end celebrations, recreational activities). Represent CRC Health Centre at external community events. Support community engagement channels, including WeChat and social media platforms.

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in Health Administration, Business Administration, or Human Resources (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration or clinic operations. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and BC Employment Standards. Experience with medical billing (MSP, private billing) and EMR systems (Plexia, Ava, or similar). Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable with technical troubleshooting and vendor coordination. Cantonese or Mandarin language skills are an asset.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
