Sackville Optometry is a new clinic looking to bring a welcoming, inclusive and professional look to quality eye care. We are excited to start on this adventure and looking for someone willing to step into the role of the optometrist's right-hand person.
We're looking for someone who is:

Detail-oriented, organized, and has great time management skills

Able to adapt to changing environments when necessary
Professional, energetic, and committed to providing a stellar patient experience
Requirements:
High school diploma required
1-2 years of experience in a retail environment
Experience in the industry would be considered an asset (in preliminary testing/reception would be preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of a second language would be considered an asset but not a requirement
CCOA certification would be considered an asset but not a requirement
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service
Receptionist Duties:
Check in/register patients on arrival
Manage schedule and patient's booking
Daily office tasks such as preparing paperwork for customers' insurance and payments, phone calls and faxes, maintaining order inventory, and tracking requests in the system
Communication with patients, ophthalmologist's offices, etc.
Pre-testing Duties
Gathering chief complaint and patient history
Perform pre-testing with patients
Helping with advertising (social media)
