We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious

Tree Climber/Bucket Truck Operator

to join our team. This role involves climbing and pruning or removing trees, driving/operating bucket trucks to perform various tasks related to tree work. The ideal candidate will have experience with rigging, working with crews, stump grinding and will be committed to maintaining high safety standards while delivering quality service in outdoor environments.

Duties

Climb and cut trees. Safely drive and operate bucket truck to access elevated work areas. Perform rigging tasks to secure tools, equipment, or materials during operations Conduct landscape maintenance activities including raking, trimming, pruning, and planting trees. Assist with horticulture tasks such as tree care and plant health assessments Ensure all equipment is inspected regularly and maintained according to safety protocols Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

Valid Class 5 DL and experience driving standard transmission commercial vehicles. Mandatory for hire. At least 3 years experience in arboriculture climbing, operating bucket trucks and aerial lift equipment Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety procedures Strong understanding of safety standards related to aerial work and equipment operation Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
