We are searching for a Rock Truck Operator to join our hardworking crew here in the Okanagan.
The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience working in the sand and gravel industry, as well as
Experience around equipment
Eye for detail
Good communication skills
Great work ethic and attitude
Attentive to safety standards
Wage will be based upon experience.
Please note that the shift is Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities:
Must operate equipment in safe manner
Must be able to communicate effectively with others
Must complete pre-operation inspections on equipment
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work well with others
Must perform daily safety and maintenance checks for equipment
Must perform daily maintenance on equipment
Must be able to assist in shoveling and changing crusher screens
Education & Experience:
Minimum 1 years of experience in the sand and gravel industry is preferred
Mechanical skills is an asset
Physical Demands:
Lifting up to 50lbs
Sitting for extended periods of time
Climbing on and off equipment
Working in varying temperatures and weather conditions
Work Environment:
Working outdoors in all seasons
Working around heavy equipment
Exposure to dust and loud noises
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
