Service excellence is at the heart of everything we do. As part of our core business, we provide a vast array of services to the citizens and businesses of Nova Scotia. Public Safety and Field Communications (PSFC) are responsible for all public safety radio and data communications throughout the Provincial government, primarily focused on first responders, government departments, and also providing support for mobile radio services for municipalities, the federal government, public works providers, and utility providers. You will plan and develop new initiatives related to radio communications and will lead communications efforts between the Department and its diverse clients on a variety of complex files. You will work to research radio communications across jurisdictions, and promote best practices.

This position will also participate in various field training and exercises, and support PSFCs Mobile Communications Support program, responding to emergencies and planned events to provide radio communications planning, tools, and advice.

About You
