Blakes Vancouver office is currently recruiting for a Client Relations & Marketing Coordinator to join the Client Relations & Marketing department in the Vancouver office. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Client Relations and Business Development.

The Client Relations & Marketing Coordinator will provide support across a wide range of events and marketing activities. In delivering client-focused services, the successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Client Relations & Marketing team to provide strategic support for various events, initiatives and projects in line with the Firm's business development strategy. A significant component of the role involves providing logistical, creative and administrative support for client events/programs in the Vancouver office.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Coordinating Vancouver sporting and entertainment tickets and maintaining and managing the ticket calendar, assigning tickets and delivering tickets to lawyers.

Providing event administrative support, including financial tracking, credit card consolidation, invoice payments, etc.

Planning and executing small events, including coordinating logistics, set-up, onsite support, delivering high standards throughout the planning process and contributing to high-quality client experiences.

Supporting the development of invitation lists, managing the invitation process as required and efficiently tracking attendance in the CRM.

Supporting the preparation of directory submissions, including information sourcing, data gathering and follow-up.

Working with the Creative Services and Marketing Technology teams to draft and distribute various print and electronic event communications and materials.

Coordinating the internal What's On newsletter.

Coordinating client gifting and promotional products, including organization of time-sensitive orders with lawyers and assistants.

Working with the Creative Services team to develop and deliver updates or new marketing collateral, and provide ongoing review and revision, of both existing and new materials.

Assisting with the coordination of research requests as required.

Assisting with PowerPoint presentations for client events and special projects.

Monitoring, tracking and maintaining the marketing calendar and relevant databases.

Qualifications:



Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or equivalent, or a college diploma with a focus in marketing and/or events preferred

Minimum of one to three years' experience planning and executing events and programs; or one to three years in a marketing or business development role, preferably in a professional services environment. Recent graduates who have completed a Marketing co-op or internship will also be considered

Skills/Abilities

Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail

Ability to meet multiple deadlines, juggle several events/projects and prioritize tasks

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Comfortable working collaboratively with Firm members at all levels

Strong interpersonal and client-service skills

Sound problem-solving skills and judgement

Strong logistical and administrative skills

A creative thinker who strives to deliver outstanding outcomes

Ability to interact confidently with C-suite clients and maintain professionalism in a corporate environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
