This position reports to the Regional Manager for Primary Health Care and is responsible for the overall administrative support to the Clarenville Family Care Team in the provision of primary health care services, with potential support to alternate sites using a hub and spoke model. The Clerk Typist III is responsible for general clerical, secretarial and receptionist support to the management and staff of the Clarenville Family Care Team. The position will involve a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks including but not limited to: maintenance and support of the Med Access electronic health record (EMR), client registration, appointment procurement and confirmation of appointment times with clients, distribution and filing of correspondence, filing of loose reports, copying of reports, record retrieval, release of information, processing of and sending referrals, coordinating meetings, taking and preparing minutes, and data entry. Other duties include answering phones, ordering, receiving, stocking supplies, and other related tasks. This position may also be responsible for payroll functions including payroll and mileage data entry, maintaining attendance and leave balance records as well as changes to schedules/records, printing of requests/changes, and contact with timekeepers.Job Demands
