Join the Data and analytics team in the Clerk, Surveys position. In this role, you will be responsible to enter data for Rental Market surveys.

This is a casual position for a two (2) month duration. Hours of work will vary based on survey workload and geographic area. Approx. 25 - 37.5 hours/per week- no guaranteed work hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the timely and accurate data entry of housing data for survey purposes.
  • Performs the preliminary data verification in time for the survey deadlines.
  • Ensures that a full complement of administrative data is received, analyzed, coded and verified for input into the survey applications.
  • Oversees the quality of the data and provides timely feedback and support to field Enumerators.
  • Proactively conducts research (internet and external client outreach) to address information gaps.
  • Work independently and work with the team to meet the data entry deadlines and data quality for all surveys.
  • On-site work is required for data entry from our CMHC Calgary regional office located at 1000 - 7th Avenue S.W.
Calgary, Alberta.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 2 years of data entry, data collection and data validation experience.
  • Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, internet research techniques, and databases).
  • Strong organizational skills, particularly the ability to organize and accurately record a high volume of data efficiently (8000 Keystrokes/hour and 50 words/minute).
  • Demonstrated strong numerical aptitude with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a remote team, to achieve strong results with minimum supervision.
  • Strong communications skills (oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Related experience in property management and/or housing industry.
