This position involves duties related to clerical work primarily within the Nursing Department; but, also includes assisting with clerical duties in other departments and reception desk relief. Duties will include operation of a computer, organization of records and forms, coordination of resident appointments and laboratory services, and ordering and receiving supplies. In this position there will be significant interaction with stakeholders such as staff, residents and the public.Job Demands

Constantly performs fine finger/precision work while sitting and using a computer mouse, scheduling appointments, and other duties.
Work provides the opportunity to stand and walk and to take postural breaks (sit, stand or walk) within the office environment.
Regularly required to perform bilateral repetitive fine motor skills when performing various computer work duties that involve typing and use of the computer\'s mouse.Job Qualifications
Successful completion of a one-year Office Administration program from an approved/recognized college is required.
Successful completion of an approved/recognized medical terminology course is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance is required.*Proof of a current office administration program and a medical terminology is required. To be considered current, they must have been completed within the last five years, unless it has been used in recent positions. This must be demonstrated on the application form.** If the medical terminology isn\'t current, a medical terminology test may be administered by the HR Client Services.Employees, to review your attendance record please refer to your employee portal on the Intranet for details.
