Brief Call

Case study

We are currently looking for a

dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Validation Technician

to join our team

on-site in North York

in a dynamic and GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in ensuring the cleanliness and compliance of production equipment through the execution of validated cleaning processes. Key Responsibilities




Execute cleaning validation protocols, including swabbing and sampling activities. Collect and document samples in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and regulatory requirements. Perform routine equipment surface sampling (swab/rinse) after cleaning activities. Collaborate with QA, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to support validation initiatives. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all validation activities. Report deviations or non-conformances to the appropriate personnel. Follow strict safety and contamination control guidelines within cleanroom environments. Support audits and inspections as required by internal or external stakeholders.

Requirements




Degree or diploma in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related technical field.

4-6 years of experience

in cleaning validation, manufacturing, or quality operations in a GMP-regulated industry. Working knowledge of cleaning validation principles, sampling techniques, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EMA). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols precisely. Excellent documentation practices (GDP) and commitment to maintaining data integrity. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Flexibility to work late shifts and weekends

on a rotating schedule is required. Familiarity with safety procedures and cleanroom gowning protocols is a plus.
