WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a

Cleaning Validation Specialist

to join our Engineering team for a

1 Year contract

. This position will be based out of our Manufacturing facility in

Etobicoke

on

Day Shift.

Required to work

in-person 5 days

a week.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Design and develop cleaning procedures for existing / new products and manufacturing equipment. Ensure the cleaning validation for products and processes are maintained in a validated state and compliance with regulatory & GMP requirements throughout their life cycle. Evaluate the appropriate cleaning agents, establish sound cleaning practices, develop and establish acceptable Residual Limits (ARL's) for cleaning agent carryover based on test data. Develop risk assessments, cleaning validation plans and review flow paths for system cleanability. Investigates and conducts troubleshooting / root cause analysis of cleaning related incidents, nonconformance's, assess protocol discrepancies and cleaning out of specification results for non-validated or under development cleaning procedures. Review, analyze and interpret system performance data for completed cleaning validation studies and prepare final report packages. Leads the enhancement of cleaning practices, "clean in place" equipment and introduction. Reviews and approves Manufacturing Cleaning procedures and forms. Review GxP deliverables including specifications, drawings, procedural documents, master plans, and validation documentation. Trains manufacturing and Quality Control / Quality Assurance personnel on cleaning validation documentation. Maintain the site Cleaning Validation Master Plan.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

BSc degree in Science, Pharmacy, Engineering or relevant scientific discipline. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in cleaning validation in the Cosmetic, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and with specific emphasis on the principles and approaches of product & equipment cleaning validation. Proficient knowledge of cleaning validation, continuous improvement and troubleshooting processes. Proficient in ISO 22716, cGMP's, Health Canada and FDA Regulations as it applies to cosmetics, OTC/NHP products. Knowledge of test methods used for Cleaning Validation assessment.
