Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires proficiency in both custodial and commercial cleaning practices, along with important skills such as attention to detail and knowledge on cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to identify areas that require attention or maintenance. Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. Adhere to safety protocols while performing cleaning duties to maintain a safe work environment. Support facilities maintenance tasks as required to ensure the overall upkeep of the premises.

Qualifications

Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during cleaning operations. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in all work areas.
Must provide own cleaning products/tools as this is a contractual position. However, if expectations are met this could lead to long term.

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $21.09-$22.03 per hour
