Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and safety of various commercial facilities. This role is vital in ensuring a hygienic environment for clients and their employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience in custodial or facilities maintenance work. Candidates should be capable of heavy lifting and comfortable working with various cleaning tools and equipment. Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial spaces Operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks Utilize custodial experience to maintain high standards of cleanliness across different areas Conduct minor facilities maintenance as needed, including replacing light bulbs or fixing minor fixtures Use proper techniques for heavy lifting when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction and address any special cleaning requests or issues Maintain safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Experience

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments Good communication skills for clear reporting and teamwork
