The Stratford Country Club, a long-standing year-round community sports & event facility, is looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. Our operations include many different streams:

Golf | Curling | Indoor Golf | 53 North Restaurant | Takeout | Weddings & Special Events | Catering

We are looking for energetic, friendly individuals to be a part of our busy hospitality department. Individuals that have a professional demeanor, positive attitude and willing to learn new things

Job Summary: Cleaning position is responsible for the following but

not limited to;

o Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, and mirrors

o Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the building

o Empty and replace garbage and recycling liners

o Refill washroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)

o Spot clean walls, doors, and high-touch surfaces

o Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to supervisor

o Ensures SCC Health & Safety policies, WHIMIS training and standards are followed.

Position Specifications:

We are seeking a reliable and detail?oriented Commercial Building Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment. This role involves routine cleaning of washrooms, common areas, and floors, ensuring the building is consistently well-presented for staff and visitors.

Experience:

o Previous commercial or general cleaning experience preferred, but not required

o Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

o Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

o Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (standing, bending, lifting light to moderate weight)

o Must be comfortable working early mornings or late nights

Work Environment: Four consecutive days per week, cleaning shifts may take place: Early mornings before business hours, or Late evenings after business hours. Consistent schedule available once assigned

Start Date: Feb 1, 2026

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
