Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks. Conduct facilities maintenance to ensure all areas are safe and functional. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants. Handle heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

Previous custodial experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks. Strong time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within designated time frames. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during cleaning operations. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
