Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete cleaning tasks. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly. Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with safety guidelines. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report shortages as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and tasks. Adhere to safety protocols while performing custodial duties, especially when handling heavy lifting.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and coworkers.
