Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our client's facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with an emphasis on commercial cleaning standards. This work will be performed 1-2 times weeks for 10-20 hours total.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and sanitized regularly. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed to uphold facility standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management. Safety Operate and Maintain a company vehicle Ability to work with minimal oversight, self motivating Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards consistently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all facility users.
