Classroom Assistant
Job Description
All About Communication is looking to hire a Part-Time Hourly Classroom Assistant to join our Entry-to-School Program team in Peterborough, Ontario.
The Entry-to-School Program is a neurodiversity-affirming six-month program for Autistic children entering school in September. Our team of SLPs, CDAs, OTs, OTAs, and BCBAs works together to support children in a classroom-like setting, ensuring a smooth transition into school.
Duties include program facilitation and implementation, parent communication, use of communication and regulation strategies, toileting assistance, and cleaning classroom space.
Hours- To be discussed during the interview.
Qualifications: Experience working with neurodiverse populations in a group setting
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Part-time
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
