Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to support our teaching staff in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, experience working with children, and the ability to foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student growth and development. This role is essential in helping teachers deliver effective lessons and ensuring that all students receive the attention they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
Break coverage End of day closing procedures Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and productive environment. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance. Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
Skills
Previous classroom experience is highly desirable, particularly in early childhood education settings. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. Experience working with children, including those with diverse learning needs or disabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.25-$25.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
Work Location: In person
