We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver with 3 to 5 years Super-B Tanker experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, safety regulations, and the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
Operate vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise during transit.
Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and handling equipment.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Basic automotive repair skills to handle minor vehicle issues on the road.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
