Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports in compliance with company policies. Assist with the operation of heavy equipment when required, including forklifts and other machinery. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during transportation and loading activities.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred. Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform basic automotive repairs is a plus. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking and heavy equipment operation. Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads and performing manual labor. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance purposes. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required. Pay: $19.69-$35.96 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
