Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school to the arena, ensuring a secure and positive environment during transit.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a 22-passenger bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Pick up and drop off students at designated stops, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in proper working condition. Monitor and manage student behavior on the bus, addressing any issues calmly and appropriately. Maintain accurate records of student ridership, routes, and any incidents that occur during transit. Communicate effectively with school personnel, parents, and students regarding schedules, delays, or other relevant information. Follow emergency procedures and protocols in the event of an incident or accident. Attend and participate in required training sessions and safety meetings. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Valid class 4 driver's license. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. Previous experience driving a school bus or similar vehicle preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with students, parents, and staff. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Provide Criminal Background check.
Hours:

Monday: 7:00am-5:00pm

Tuesday: 7:00am-5:00pm

Wednesday: 7:00am-5:00pm

Thursday: 7:00am-5:00pm

Friday: 7:00am-11:30am

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
