Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting used waste oil while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
Operate tank trucks to transport fluid between locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload tank trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Follow all safety protocols while operating vehicles and handling freight.
Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Familiarity with tank truck operation is highly desirable. Knowledge of Edmonton and area roads and addresses are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
