Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Vac Truck Driver

to operate tandem axle vac trucks servicing construction projects and commercial clients throughout the city. This is a

full-time position on an afternoon / night shift

based out of

Port Coquitlam

, with overtime frequently available.

Duties

Operate tandem axle septic/vac trucks to service job sites and commercial clients Complete and submit daily

pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Pump and transport septic and liquid waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations Maintain proper documentation and service logs Ensure the vac truck is kept clean and in good working order Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers on-site Comply with all safety protocols and company policies Assist with basic automotive repair and maintenance tasks as needed. Operate other trucks as required

Requirements

Valid Class 3 Driver's License

with Air Brake Endorsement (required)

Experience operating Vac Trucks / Septic Trucks

(required) Strong understanding of job site operations, especially construction sites Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physically capable of manual labour and outdoor work in all weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety-first mindset Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Experience with automotive repair is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
