We are currently seeking only experienced drivers to immediately help us with our essential winter snow removal and hauling operations.DumpTrux.ca offers competitive winter wages ranging from $25 to $32 per hour, depending on your experience, exclusively for part-time positions. We provide shifts around the clock, ensuring flexibility to fit your existing schedule. Our fleet is kept in top condition by an in-house full-time mechanic, minimizing downtime.The Opportunity for Experienced DriversAs a vital part of our specialized winter crew, you'll be operating heavy-duty trucks for snow hauling. We rely on your proven skills to ensure key areas of Winnipeg remain clear and safe under challenging conditions. This position also offers the valuable possibility to transition into full-time work during the summer season with our hauling and asphalt crews.Job Requirements: What You'll Need to Bring

Licensed & Endorsed: Must hold a valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement (required for our equipment).

Tandem Dump Truck Experience is ESSENTIAL: We are seeking candidates with a strong, proven history of operating commercial vehicles.

Winter Driving Expertise: Significant comfort and skill operating heavy trucks in challenging winter conditions (snow, ice, low visibility) is a must.

Manual Transmission Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise is necessary for our fleet.

Reliability & Availability: Critical for on-call and prompt response to snow events. We need drivers we can depend on.

Physical Capability: Must be prepared to do a little hand shovelling as needed to clear areas around the truck or site.

Willingness to Learn (Summer Asset): Preference will be given to experienced candidates willing to learn and work physically alongside our asphalt crew during the summer months.

Strong Communication Skills: Key for smooth operations and coordination with the team and our mechanical staff.

Tech-Savvy (or Willing to Learn): Confident in using mobile devices or tablets to complete accurate electronic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Assets: Experience operating skid steer, loader equipment, and/or plow trucks is a definite asset.
