Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver and Knuckleboom Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service, ensuring that all operations comply with local regulations and company policies.

Duties

Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations. Safely operate knuckleboom Bag Truck to puckup and delivery waste bags at designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload materials using heavy equipment as necessary, including forklifts. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents during operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules and service needs. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while driving. Assist with basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck when needed.

Requirements

Valid Class 3 commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving is essential; familiarity with roll-off trucks is preferred. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including knuckleboom crane Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and waste management practices. Ability to drive a manual transmission Ability climb heights and tarp loads safely Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
