Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Class 3 Driver with gravel truck experience to operate our vehicles safely within city and urban environments.

This role is more than just driving - you'll be an integral part of the landscaping crew, assisting with various outdoor projects, operating equipment when required, and contributing to the overall success of our jobs.

Key Responsibilities:



Safely operate a Class 3 gravel truck

in city driving conditions, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Transport materials such as soil, gravel, mulch, and equipment to and from job sites.

Assist the landscaping crew

with various tasks, which may include site preparation, planting, grading, sodding, hardscaping, and general cleanup. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean and organized truck. Operate and assist with heavy equipment as needed (e.g., skid-steers, excavators, loaders - experience is a strong asset). Communicate effectively with the team, supervisors, and occasionally clients in a professional manner. Follow directions, complete tasks efficiently, and maintain a high standard of quality. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Valid Class 3 driver's license

with a clean or satisfactory abstract.

Proven experience driving a gravel truck

, especially in city environments. Willingness and ability to perform physical landscaping labour as part of the crew. Experience operating landscaping/heavy equipment is a

strong asset

(e.g., skid-steer, mini-excavator, etc.). Reliable, punctual, and able to work in all weather conditions. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks. Basic mechanical knowledge for minor truck/equipment checks is an advantage.
