Job Description

Bulk delivery drivers are responsible for the delivery of hazardous goods and must operate the vehicle under their care with safety as their priority and is aware of he right to stop when faced with an unsafe condition whatever form that may take, They must take care in delivering the product to the proper tank at the intended location and assure the company's good relationship with their customers is always maintained. Remember drivers are the front-line workers and have the most contact with the customers, it is therefore of great importance that drivers always maintain good rapport with the customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:



10-4 shift - Flexibitly with schedule

It should be noted that while the list of duties and responsibilities may not be complete it does represent the overall requirements of the job.

Operate vehicles in a safe manner under all conditions, obey the laws, regulations, and posted speed limits.

Maintain license, TDG qualifications, and CPPI certification always updated, and be in possession of these documents always.

He/she must submit an updated driver`s abstract annually, this will be done by the company, on hire it is required by the driver

Assure that the vehicle is always safe to operate, by carrying out pre-trip and post trip inspections and checks.

He/she must follow all Prudent Operations /COR and company procedures for top loading and unloading in customer facilities and do pre-trip hazard assessment report on all deliveries. Maintain all safety equipment on board the vehicle in working condition, i.e. spill kits, flares, fire extinguishers, chains, shovels, and vapor masks.

Provide and maintain accurate and timely truck reports, Hazard Assessment forms and maintenance records.

Assure preventative maintenance is carried out on a regular basis.? Report any defective equipment to management as soon as possible.

Be familiar with invoicing of products and return paper work to the office promptly.

Maintain an efficient work schedule while performing deliveries in a timely manner.

Come to work mentally and physically prepared; fit for duty.

Work pleasantly and co-operatively with co-workers and customers.

always Maintain their trucks in a clean state weather permitting, i.e. complete wash, cabs always kept clean.

Be prepared to share or alternate job roles between all drivers and locations.

He/she must help to ensure a safe, clean work environment and should assist in site cleanliness when possible. (i.e. cleaning out spill pails)

Bulk lube operators will be expected to work on package trucks when it's slow and be prepared to assist in other work when not doing deliveries.

Comply with all the requirements of the Federal Privacy Act.

Any other related duties that may be called for by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
