We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and safety-conscious CLASS 1 PROFESSIONAL DRIVER to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently, maintaining compliance with transportation regulations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires exceptional driving skills, strong attention to detail, and commitment to safety and professionalism, and with on-time deliveries.

Duties

Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations Load and unload freight using pallet jacks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELDs). Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and min. 5 year abstract history. Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields Minimum 2 years and /or 150,000KM of verifiable experience Criminal background check with no criminal code violations. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for recordkeeping and compliance Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy objects, and perform vehicle inspections
